Who is personal training for?

It's for the person who feels stuck, frustrated, or isn't sure where to start. It's for you if you're ready for a change and recognize that:

You've tried 'going to the gym' on your own, but you feel lost, intimidated, or unmotivated, and you never see real results.

You get out of breath walking up the stairs or carrying in the groceries.

Your back or knees ache after doing simple things, like playing with your kids or sitting at your desk.

You feel stiff and sore every morning, and your energy levels crash by the afternoon.

You have to sit on the sidelines during activities you used to love, worried you can't keep up or might get hurt.

You're tired of not feeling strong and confident in your own body.

If any of those sound familiar, this place isn't just another gym – it's your starting line.

“If I could, Rise would get 10 stars from me. I have never been a “let’s go to the gym” type person. I have tried multiple times and places because I knew it was something I SHOULD DO for better health. It didn’t take long before I would decide to miss a day, then another, and soon I was paying for a membership I did not use. I also felt lost, not knowing exactly what to do. The folks that went just did not ‘look like me’; an overweight senior. The trainers and other members at Rise take an interest in you from the moment you walk in the door. It is a community of folks trying to improve their fitness while encouraging the others there. In my first month, I have lost pounds, inches, and I can move in ways that had been lost to inactivity. There is accountability, which is missing from the other gyms I tried; and I NEED accountability! There are seniors, middle aged, and younger members, all who welcome the new person in the group. The staff are professionals who know what they are doing. Each member has a program designed just for them. If you have struggled with fitness, give Rise a try!”

A program that sticks

“I stopped exercising as I got busy with work and family. For nearly 40 years I didn’t exercise and I gained weight and got soft. I started working out at Rise in June 2023 when my doctor was concerned about my rising glucose numbers as I was approaching pre-diabetes and high cholesterol.

My two concerns were getting hurt and losing interest in it over time and quitting.

My experience has been transformational. I have gotten stronger, more flexible, and gained better balance. I’ve lost nearly 30 pounds this year and my glucose numbers have dropped significantly and my cholesterol numbers have improved.”
